Don’t Drink … Gamble!
If you enjoy a cocktail occasionally, keep your cash out of the casino if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Empty your evening bag, your money belt, and keep all cash, credit cards and checks out of the casino. Take whatever money you expect to spend on beverages, tipping and only the pocket change you expect to burn and leave the remainder behind.
Pessimistic? Absolutely not. Just realistic. You might have a profit after a drunken evening out with your friends and be blessed sufficiently to catch a 25 minute toss at a on fire craps game. Keep that story seeing that it is as brief as it gets if you consistently drink alcohol and bet. The pair simply do not mix.
Leaving your moolah out of the casino might be a tiny bit dramatic, but precautionary actions for excessive behavior is a requirement. If you wager to profit, then don’t drink and play. If you are able to afford to blow your money without a concern, then drink all the gratis beer you are able to handle, but don’t pack plastic credit and chequebooks to toss into the mix of going after losses after your bombed brain loses everything!
Permit me to carry this a single step further. Don’t drink alcohol and then hop on the internet to gamble in your preferred internet casino either. I love to beer from the coziness of my apartment, but since I am connected through Neteller, Firepay and have credit cards at my fingertips, I can’t drink and bet.
Why? Even though I don’t consume alcohol to excess, when I drink alcohol, it’s clearly adequate to befuddle my better judgment. I wager, so I don’t consume alcohol when betting. If you are more of a drinker, do not wager when you do. Both make for an awful, and costly, cocktail.
