Learning From My Betting Failures
First to clarify the reason I wrote this essay. I have been wagering online or at a brick and mortar betting houses for a great many years. I have learned, the fixation can grab a hold of you and you won’t even realize it until you are bankrupt. Particularly if you’re on a winning streak. I’ve gone through many thousands of dollars in a very tiny amount of time and still on occasion, I’ll go too far. It appears you’re just having fun until you decide to be aware of your defeats and the anguish settles in, and then you keep telling yourself "I can get it back" repeatedly. It doesn’t works. Then you become sick in your stomach and the more you try the faster you are deprived.
When you notice that you are ahead, STAY on the UP! When you start to be beaten, don’t say to yourself, "well just maybe one more" and again and again, trust me, this method RARELY ever works. Say you’re betting on slots, have an amount set to the side before starting your action. Don’t go over that boundary, regardless how alluring. If you actually win, put that in a different pot. Do not spend your wins no matter what. Once you have played through your original set limit, stop. Leave, regardless if it’s on the net or at a physical betting house, don’t stay around. Always keep in mind, there will be a different day, a different time.
Remember, betting is assumed to be exciting not backbreaking, nauseating work! If you aren’t having fun yourself, you don’t belong there. If youcannot afford the cost, don’t even start.
